WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Southern Nazarene picked up its first win of the year with an 8-1 win over Doane Monday afternoon.
 
SNU swept all three doubles as Polina Chala and Noelia Gomez won 8-0 at No. 1 and Anna Garcia and Dragana Samardzic won 8-1 at No. 2. Judit Mas and Trista LaGrande also won 9-7 at No. 3 to record their first doubles win of the year.
 
In singles, SNU's one through five won in straight sets. Chala won 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 while Gomez won 6-1, 6-0, at No. 2. Garcia won 6-0, 6-,0 at No. 3 and Samardzic won 6-1, 6-0, at No. 4. Mas won 6-0, 6-4, at No. 5 as well. LeGrande was the only player to give up a singles match as she fell 6-3, 6-2.
 
The Storm moved to 1-3 on the year.
