OKLAHOMA CITY — Southern Nazarene picked up its first Great American Conference win of the season and first sweep of the season with a 9-0 win over Ouachita Baptist Saturday afternoon.
 
The Crimson Storm (2-4, 1-1 GAC) got an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles by Polina Chala and Noelia Gomez to win their third straight match. Anna Garcia and Dragana Samardzic also scored an 8-0 sweep at No. 2 doubles. Trista LeGrande and Taylor Sullivan teamed up for the first time to get an 8-5 win at No. 3.
 
In singles, Chala played just a pro set and won 8-0 at No. 1 while every other Crimson Storm player won in straight sets. Gomez didn't drop a set at No. 2 winning, 6-0, 6-0, while Garcia won 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3. Samardzic won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 and Mas scored her first GAC win of the season with a 6-2, 6-0, victory at No. 5. Trista LeGrande won her first collegiate match of her career with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 6.
