OKLAHOMA CITY — Southern Nazarene closed out its regular season with a 8-1 loss at the hands of Southern Nazarene.
 
The loss keeps the Crimson Storm (2-10, 1-6 GAC) at the sixth seed for the Great American Conference Championships and they will play the same Tigers (10-13, 4-3 GAC) in the quarterfinals Thursday at 2 p.m. in Bentonville, Arkansas.
 
Judit Mas picked up the lone win for SNU as the freshman moved to 5-7 on the year and 4-3 in the GAC. Mas picked up the 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.
 
Before singles, SNU dropped all three doubles matches. Noelia Gomez and Polina Chala fell 8-1 at No. 1 while Dragana Samardzic and Mas fell 8-2 at No. 2. Taylor Sullivan and Haley Cantwell lost 8-0 at No. 3.
 
Gomez dropped a 6-1, 6-4, match at No. 1 singles while Paulina Obreque fell 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2. Samardzzic lost 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3. Kylie Lang and Cantwell each lost in straight sets at No. 5 and 6 as both lost 6-0, 6-0.
