EDMOND, Okla. — Polina Chala and
Judit Mas won back-to-back matches Friday for Southern Nazarene in a 7-2 loss to Arkansas Tech.

Chala won her third straight match and moved to 7-2 on the year, 3-1 in the GAC, with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Tamara Bell at No. 2 singles. Mas also won despite falling in the first set 6-3. She then rallied for a 6-4 win at No. 6 singles before scoring the 10-4 tiebreaker.

Noelia Gomez took on her second straight regionally ranked opponent in No. 12 Macarena Sedano Acosta and was up a set after winning the first 6-2, but dropped the second set 6-4. She then lost tiebreaker 10-4 at No. 1 singles.
Paulina Obreque lost 6-1, 6-0, at No. 3,
Dragana Samardzic fell 6-3, 6-3, at No. 4 and
Kylie Lang lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5.

The Storm (1-8, 0-4 GAC) lost all three matches in doubles. Sedano Acosta and Tamara Bell, No. 5 in the region downed Gomez and Chala, No. 6 in the region, 8-6 at No. 1.
Taylor Sullivan and Obreque lost 8-4 at No. 2 and Mas and Samardzic fell 8-2 at No. 3.Â
