BETHANY, Okla. — After two different drawings as part of a tiebreaker to determine seeds, Southern Nazarene University drew the fourth seed as it enters its first Great American Conference Tennis Championships.

The Crimson Storm who finished in a tie for fourth in the GAC regular season at 2-4 will take on fifth-seeded Harding in the quarterfinals. First serve is set for 9 a.m. Friday at the Memorial Park Tennis Complex in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Crimson Storm won a closely contested match, 5-4, over the Bisons earlier in the year in Bethany. Southeastern Oklahoma State drew the top seed and will await the winner of SNU and Harding. The Crimson Storm fell 7-2 to the Savage Storm in GAC play this year.

On the other side of the bracket, third-seeded East Central will also play at 9 a.m. against sixth-seeded Henderson State in the other quarterfinals match. The winner of the Tigers and Reddies will play second-seeded Arkansas Tech.

Both semifinal matches will be played Friday at 3 p.m. with the championship match set for Saturday at 2 p.m.

Reining GAC Player of the Year
Masha Andrianova brings will play in her first GAC Championships as she brings in an 18-1 career record against GAC opponents. This year, the senior is 5-1 at No. 1 singles and 3-3 at No. 1 doubles in the GAC with partner
Natalia Moreno. Moreno is 4-2 in the GAC in singles with matches split at No. 2 and 3. Freshman
Polina Chala comes in with an unblemished record in GAC play at 6-0 with five of those matches at No. 2 singles.
Karina Kotova is 2-4 at No. 4 singles and she and Chala have combined to go 3-3 at No. 2 doubles.
Kaitlyn Atkeson and
Taylor Sullivan are both looking for their first wins in singles and doubles.
