NORMAN, Okla.— The Southern Nazarene men's and women's track & field teams competed at the UCO Invitational held at the Mosier Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Oklahoma Saturday.
On the women's side, the Crimson Storm posted two top-ten finishes at the meet.
Aliyah Nolan placed eighth in the 60 meters in a time of 8.12 and eighth in the 200 meters in a time of 27.08.
Makenzie Colton led SNU in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 10.48.
LaKresha James placed 22
nd in the one mile run in a time of 5:48.28.
In the 800 meters,
Lindsay Lester led the way with a 23
rd place finish in a time of 2:39.49.
The 4x400-meter relay team placed 13
th in a time of 4:36.35.
On the men's side, Southern Nazarene posted nine top-ten finishes at the meet.
Garrett McGrady placed second in the shot put with a throw of 14.66 meters.
Colin Pasque placed third in the pole vault as he cleared a height of 4.55 meters.
Hunter Stanley placed fourth in the high jump as he cleared the bar at 1.85 meters.
Robert Vaughn placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.25 meters.
The 4x400-meter relay team placed sixth in a time of 3:30.68.
Korey Eakers placed sixth in the 600-yard run in a time of 1:16.64.
DeAndre Vick placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.71.
Grayson Haws posted two top-ten finishes with fourth place finish in the 800 meters in a time of 1:59.97 and a seventh place finish in the one mile run in a time of 4:27.02.
Sterling Wright led SNU in the 60 meters with a 15
th place finish in a time of 7.30.
Vaughn also placed 11
th in the 400 meters in a time of 56.06.
In the 200 meters,
Dalton Stout led the way with a 19
th place finish in a time of 23.96.
Both teams will next compete at the MSSU Lion Open Feb. 6-7.
