NORMAN, Okla.— The Southern Nazarene men's and women's track teams competed at the UCO Open held at the Mosier Indoor Facility on the campus of the University of Oklahoma Saturday.
 
On the women's side, the 4x400-meter relay team posted the best finish as they finished 16^th in a time of 4:26.84.
 
Raven McDaniel led the Crimson Storm with a 29^th place finish in the 60 meters in a time of 8.27.
 
Aliyah Nolan was the top finisher in the 200 meters with a 29^th place finish in a time of 27.45
 
In the 800 meters, LaKresha James led the way with a 19^th place finish in a time of 2:33.25.
 
Makenzie Colton was the top finisher for SNU in the 60 meters hurdles as she placed 24^th in a time of 10.29.
 
On the men's side, four athletes and one relay team posted top ten finishes. Garrett McGrady placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 14.22 meters. Robert Vaughn placed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 13.03 meters. The 4x400-meter relay team placed seventh in a time of 3:32.67. Andrew Leahey placed seventh in the one mile run in a time of 4:42.07. Dalton Stout placed ninth in the 400 meters in a time of 52.02.
 
Sterling Wright led Southern Nazarene in the 60 meters with a 23^rd place finish in a time of 7.24. Wright also led the team with an 18^th place finish in the 200 meters in a time of 23.65.
 
In the 800 meters, Blake Wieczorek led SNU with a 17^th place finish in a time of 2:04.28.
 
DeAndre Vick led the team in the 60 meter hurdles with a 16^th place finish in a time of 9.05.
 
Stout was also the top finisher in the long jump as he placed 13^th with a leap of 6.24 meters.
 
Hunter Stanley placed 13^th in the high jump as he cleared the bar at 1.85 meters.
 
Both teams will next compete at the UCO Invitational held in Norman, Okla. Saturday.
