Box Score WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Quan Conner scored a team-high 22 points for Southern Nazarene in a 73-58 loss at Southwestern Oklahoma State Tuesday night.

The Crimson Storm (13-12, 11-8 GAC) dropped their second straight game and falls two games back of first place in the Great American Conference into a tie for third place.

Conner went 7-for-13 from the floor and 6-for-9 at the line.
CJ Smith added 12 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Antwone Jackson also had eight points.

Southern Nazarene was held to just 35.2 percent from the floor and just 5-for-17 from 3-point range. The Storm also struggled at the line going 15-for-25. The Bulldogs (17-8, 14-5 GAC) hit 46.3 percent from the field and went 10-for-20 from downtown.

The Bulldogs led by as much as 15 in the first half at 33-18, but a 9-0 run by the Storm, capped by an
Antwone Jackson lay in cut the deficit to 33-27 with 5:08 left in the first half. Southwestern stretched it to 10 at 37-27 before SNU closed the half with a 6-2 run to make it 39-33 at the break.

The Storm trailed just 41-35 early in the second half and the lead was pushed to double digits quickly. SWOSU pushed it to 50-35 before SNU cut it to 52-45 midway through the second half. That was as close as SNU came though.

The Crimson Storm now get set to host Northwestern Oklahoma State, Saturday, at 4 p.m. for the final game of the regular season.
