Box Score DURANT, Okla. — CJ Smith's 3-pointer with three seconds left that tied the game at 62 and sent it into overtime, looked to give all the momentum to Southern Nazarene. Southeastern Oklahoma State however, got to the line 11 times, hitting eight, in overtime while SNU went 1-for-7 from the field in a 74-67 loss.

The loss stops a five-game winning streak for the Crimson Storm (13-11, 11-7 GAC) and pushes SNU's overtime record to 2-2 on the season.

Francisco Hukill scored a career-high 15 points all off of the bench as the sophomore went 5-for-10 from the field and hit three 3-pointers. He also added five rebounds. Smith finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of his career.
Garrett Butler also had 14 points on the night while
Quan Conner had nine points, seven assists and six rebounds.

SNU shot 41.4 percent from the field and hit 10 3-pointers, but struggled at the line hitting just 9-for-23. The Savage Storm (8-15, 5-12 GAC) hit 43.1 percent from the field and went 18-for-22 from the charity stripe. Southeastern forced 15 turnovers, with 21 points coming from SNU's miscues.

Southern Nazarene led by as much as 12 early in the first half after going on a 15-2 run towards the end of the half to lead 35-23 and took a 35-25 lead at halftime. The Crimson Storm held a 44-35 lead with 13:28 to play when Southeastern went on an 8-0 run to cut it to 44-43 with 10:30 left. SNU stretched it back to five at 48-43 before the Savage Storm went on a 13-2 run take a 56-50 lead with 3:39 remaining.

SNU rallied late with a trey by Butler, then a free throw by Conner before another 3-pointer by Hukill gave SNU a 59-58 lead with 1:21 to play and completed a 9-2 run. Southeastern though got a late free throw to tie it and then got a big three to take a 62-59 lead with 45 seconds to play.

Hukill missed an attempt from beyond the arc and SOSU came down with the rebound, but turned it over with 12 seconds left.
CJ Smith then buried a trey to force overtime. SNU though had just one field goal and three free throws in the overtime period.

SNU will now play its final road game of the season, Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
