Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State went on a 33-11 run to close out the first half and that was ultimately enough to knock off Southern Nazarene 87-78.

The Storm (5-6, 3-2 GAC) trailed 68-57 with 6:55 left to play in the second half before
Quan Conner made a 3-pointer to cut the Reddies lead to eight 68-60 with 6:32 left to play. The Reddies though, went on an 8-2 run taking a 76-62 lead with only 2:11 left to play. SNU (5-6, 3-2 GAC) was unable to recover from the fourteen-point deficit and Henderson State held on for the win at home.

Conner led all scorers with 26 points shooting 7-for-17 from the field and shot 6-for-12 from the 3-point line.
LB Willis scored 16 points shooting 7-for-12 from the field and
CJ Smith netted 12 points and three rebounds.
Dartanyon Meggs scored a career high 15 points and grabbed a career high eight rebounds.

SNU went 25-for-62 from the field shooting 40.3 percent while the Reddies shot 50.8 percent from the field going 32-for-63. The Storm shot 40 percent from the 3-point line going 10-for-25 and went 18-for-25 from the free throw line shooting 62.1 percent. The Reddies scored 36 points off the bench while the Storm only scored four. Henderson State outscored SNU 40-18 inside the paint and scored 20 points off of SNU turnovers while the Storm scored just 12 points off of the Reddies mistakes. The Reddies scored 14 points off of second chance points and SNU scored seven.
