Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Garrett Butler tied a career-high with 18 points in an 83-77 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State.

The Crimson Storm (8-8, 6-4 GAC) got a team-high 22 points out of
CJ Smith who went 6-for-11 from the field and 10-for-11 at the line. He also had six rebounds and two assists.
Quan Conner also had 18 points with nine of them coming from the charity stripe. He added four rebounds two assists and three steals.
LB Willis also had 12 points three boards and three assists as the freshman went 5-for-10 from the field.

SNU shot 42.6 percent from the field and went 24-for-28 at the line. The Storm also turned it over just eight times. The Bulldogs (11-4, 8-1 GAC) though out rebounded SNU 40-31, and outscored the storm in the pain 34-18.

SNU led by as much as 13 in the first half at 31-18 before taking a 45-36 lead into the locker room at halftime. SWOSU began to chip away at the lead slowly, and finally took momentum away with an 8-0 run with 8:35 to play. The Storm retook the lead with 6:25 to play at 66-65 on a pair of Smith free throws. The Bulldogs hit a trey on the next possession and SNU tied it twice before giving way to SWOSU down the stretch.

The Storm now get set to hit the road again Thursday as it travels to Harding for a 7:30 p.m. GAC contest.Â
