BETHANY, Okla. — The NCCAA Central Region Tournament is set and Southern Nazarene will play a three-team round robin with Dallas Baptist and McMurry (Texas).
The Crimson Storm open tournament play Friday at 1 p.m. against Dallas Baptist and will close tournament play Saturday at 9 a.m. against McMurry. Dallas Baptist will play McMurry Saturday at 3 p.m.
Southern Nazarene won five straight to end the year and finished at 7-7 overall after starting the year at 2-7. The Crimson Storm tied for the Great American Conference's best record at 5-1.
DBU comes into the tournament at 15-8 overall and went 4-2 in the Heartland Conference. The Lady Patriots reached the semifinals of the Heartland Conference Tournament before falling to No. 31 St. Edward's.
McMurry went 9-7 this year overall, but have gone 2-6 over their last eight matches after starting the year at 7-1.
The winner will advance to the NCCAA National Tournament, May 6-11, in Mobile, Ala.
