Southern Nazarene rattled off its 10th straight

Fall has averaged 19.1 points and 18.8 rebounds over the last eight games.
Box Score BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — The streaks stays alive for at least one more night as Southern Nazarene rolled into the NCCAA Central Region Tournament championship game with a 96-73 win over Southwestern Christian.
 
The Crimson Storm (18-9) have won 10 straight and have not lost since Jan. 24. SNU nearly shot 50 percent from the field, going 33-for-67 and hit five 3-pointers in each half to go 10-for-23 from the perimeter. The Crimson Storm also shot 80 percent from the free-throw line, going 20-for-25.
 
Aminata Fall led the way for the Storm with her eighth straight double-double and 13th overall. The sophomore tied a career-high with 24 points and was just one rebound short of tying her own school record with 23 rebounds. She also had three blocks and three steals. She went 7-for-15 from the field and 10-for-11 at the line. She also set the school's single-season rebounds record with her final two rebounds. Fall passed Abbey Marra's mark of 366 rebounds in the 2010-11 season as Fall now as 368.
 
Annie Kassongo was just two points off a career-high with 21 points and posted a double-double with 10 rebounds. Oumoul Thiam added 16 points while Kristin Milster chipped in with 14 points and four rebounds off of the bench.
 
The Storm led by as much as 16 in the first half at 37-21, but Southwestern Christian went on a 13-3 run over the last four minutes of the half to cut it to 40-34 at the break. It was all SNU in the second half and the Storm shot 58.8 percent from the field in the second half and were 5-for-10 from 3-point range.
 
Fall had 16 of her points in the second half while Kassongo had 13.
 
The Crimson Storm now go for the NCCAA Central Region title, Saturday, at 1 p.m. as they take on cross-town rival Oklahoma Christian. The two split games earlier this season with SNU winning 73-68 inside the Sawyer Center and OC winning 79-56 inside the Eagles Nest.
