Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Kori Forge may not be welcome back inside the Sawyer Center anymore after the Arkansas-Monticello guard sank any hopes of a Southern Nazarene win with a game-winning bucket with just 1.7 seconds left in a 53-52 win over SNU.

Forge torched the Crimson Storm (13-10, 8-9 GAC) for 33 points down in Monticello and then hit SNU for 16 Saturday evening with 10 coming in the second half.

Southern Nazarene had held the lead from the 15:04 mark in the second half when Antwone Jackson capped a 7-0 run with a bucket in the paint to lead 32-30. UAM tied it at 32, but the Storm never lost the lead. SNU pushed the lead to eight at 52-44 with 2:30 left, but went scoreless the rest of the game. UAM added two buckets to make it 52-48 with 2:05 left before Forge buried a trey with 31 seconds remaining to make it 52-51.

SNU had a chance to at least make it a two or three-point game, but Quan Conner missed the front end of a one-and-one and the Boll Wevils got one last play with 10 seconds left after a timeout. Forge came around a ball screen just inside the top of the key and buried the jumper with 1.7 seconds left. SNU tried to inbound it deep, but UAM picked off the pass to secure the win.

Conner finished with a game-high 32 points as he went 7-for-19 from the field and had five 3-pointers. Antwone Jackson had nine points and seven rebounds while Bradley Toone was just a bucket short of a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds.

The Crimson Storm were held to just 36.7 percent shooting from the field and were just 6-for-24 from 3-point range. SNU also struggled form the free-throw line, going just 10-for-18.

Southern Nazarene hits the road again Thursday when it take on East Central for a 7:30 p.m. GAC game.
