Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — It may not be the style of basketball you're used to seeing inside the Sawyer Center, but the results are the same after the buzzer sounds. Southern Nazarene picked up another win with a methodical pace in a 63-57 win over Southern Arkansas.

The Crimson Storm (13-9, 8-8 GAC) got a career scoring night out of Quan Conner, who lit up the nets with a career-high seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 28 points. The junior went 8-for-19 from the field and 7-for-11 from 3-point range. He also had six rebounds and two assists. Bradley Toone, who had just spent a few days in practice, added 12 points and four rebounds as the senior went 3-for-6 from the field and was perfect from 3-point range and the free-throw line. He was 2-for-2 from the perimeter and 4-for-4 at the charity stripe. Antwone Jackson added 11 point and six rebounds.

Southern Nazarene used every second of the clock they could and didn't waste shots. The Storm were 18-for-43 from the field and 9-for-18 from 3-point range. The Storm also hit 18-for-24 from the free-throw line and were 12-for-13 from the stripe in the second half. SNU also turned the ball over just 11 times.

The Storm never trailed the entire game, but never led by more than 10 in the first half and had to fight off the Muleriders (9-13, 5-11 GAC). The Storm led 24-14 with 3:21 left to play in the first half, but SAU scored the final six points to make it 24-20 at the break.

SNU went on a 9-2 run to open the second half and took its biggest lead of the night at 33-22 and led 37-27 when the Muleriders used a 12-3 run to cut it to 40-39 with 8:38 left. SAU cut it to one again at 45-44, but Jackson completed a 3-point play to give SNU a 48-44 lead and withstood every run from that point on.

The Crimson Storm now get set to host Arkansas-Monticello, Saturday, for a 4 p.m. GAC game.
