Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — In just its second year in the Great American Conference Southern Nazarene notched a second place finish in the GAC with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-17) win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Tuesday night.

The final home game of the regular season was the first sweep for the Crimson Storm (21-9, 11-2 GAC) since Oct. 12. The win also runs SNU's home record to 9-2 on the year.

Taylor Jacobs and
Kira Roberts combined for 25 kills on the night as Jacobs had 13 and Roberts had 12. Jacobs notched her 12
th double-double of the year with 17 digs. She also had two blocks. Roberts also added six digs and three blocks.
Jamie Hope chipped in with eight kills, nine digs and five blocks.
Kaylee Piatt recorded 33 assists and nine digs to go with her two blocks.
Abbey Bell also posted 22 digs.

The Storm recorded a season-high for digs in a three-set match with 79 on the night. Southern Nazarene also recorded seven blocks. The Storm hit .250 (46-13-132) on the night and made just 13 errors.

The Crimson Storm ripped a .302 (17-1-53) clip in the first set as six different players recorded at least two kills and Jacobs led the way with four. Bell had 14 of her digs in the first set alone. The Storm led from start to finish, but never led by more than five at any point. SNU led 19-17 when Piatt and Roberts notched two straight kills and then a NWOSU error gave the Storm a 22-17 lead. Southern Nazarene held the Rangers the rest of the way to lead 1-0.

Jacobs had six kills in the second set as the Storm hit .273 and led from start to finish again. SNU led 12-8 when a NWOSU error sparked a 12-5 run capped by a Hope kill to give SNU set point at 24-13. The Rangers scored two straight before Roberts put it away with a kill.

SNU broke open the final set when
Emily Dick broke a 4-4 tie with a kill and set the Storm on a 12-5 run to lead 16-9. The Storm cruised from there for their eighth shutout of the year.
