Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Oumoul Thiam recorded her first double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-64 loss to Ouachita Baptist, Thursday night.
The Crimson Storm (4-7, 1-4 GAC) held a 60-51 lead late in the second half, but the Lady Tigers (9-1, 5-0 GAC) outscored SNU 19-4 down the stretch to score the win.
Annie Kassongo added 14 points while
Kristin Milster chipped in with 12. OBU's Monica Williams scored a game-high 18 points and added 11 rebounds.
SNU shot just 33.9 percent from the field going 20-for-59 from the field.
The Lady Tigers broke a 12-12 tie with a 17-3 run to lead 29-15 with 8:23 left in the first, but
Marsha Durr sparked an 18-2 run as the Crimson Storm retook the lead at 33-31 at the 2:47 mark. OBU retook the lead at 36-35 before
Callee Cox buried a trey to give the Storm a 38-36 lead at the break.
Neither team led by more than five in the second half until the Storm used an 8-2 run to take a 60-51 lead with 6:54 to play. Then came OBU's second half sprint.
The Crimson Storm now get set to host Henderson State, Saturday, at 2 p.m. in a GAC contest.
