OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — After getting its season opener rained out the week before, No. 10 Southern Nazarene officially opened its 2012 season with a 6-3 loss to Central Oklahoma.
 
Southern Nazarene picked up a much needed doubles win at No. 2 doubles as Deisi Bolivar and Karina Kotova picked up the 9-7 win and headed into singles down 2-1. Masha Andrianova had a big comeback at No. 1 singles after dropping the first set. She won the second set 6-4 and then won the tiebreaker 10-4
 
Bolivar also picked up a win at No. 4 singles to scored the other singles match and was the only player to win both in singles and doubles.

"We had great comebacks in one singles and two doubles," said SNU Head Coach Phil White. "Natalia fought back from a slow start to win the second set and just got edged in the tiebreaker. UCO is a solid team and we competed well, but we just couldn't overcome them."

SNU will now head to Cowley County CC for a scrimmage there before returning home Tuesday to take on Oklahoma Baptist at 2 p.m.
