Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Ryan Aaron scored a game-high 15 points for Southern Nazarene in a 63-54 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday night.
Neither team led by more than nine as the two exchanged 10 leads and tied five times.
The Crimson Storm (5-4, 0-3 GAC) led early in the contest, but found themselves down 25-16 with 5:53 left in the first half.
Brady Burford though sparked a 13-4 run to end the half as SNU tied it at 29. The two exchanged leads a handful of times in the first 10 minutes of the second half with neither team leading more than two.
Antwone Jackson gave SNU a 41-40 lead midway through the second half, but that was the last lead SNU had as the Bulldogs (4-5, 3-0) answered just about every time down the stretch.
Aaron went 5-for-7 from the field while SNU as a team went 17-for-42 (40.5 percent) from the field. Burford added 12 points and six rebounds while
Tyrone Lyons had 10 points and six boards. Quan conner also had nine.
Southwestern got a game-high 16 points out of both Dominick Cornelius and Thomas Davis.
The Crimson Storm will now host Northwestern Oklahoma State, Tuesday, for a 7:30 p.m. GAC contest.
