Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — When you get as hot as No. 16 Southern Nazarene has lately, there's not too much that can damper the mood. SNU shot at least 50 percent for the fourth straight game and had four players in double figures in a 70-54 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State, Saturday evening.
Ryan Aaron was brilliant again off of the bench, scoring a game-high 23 points as he continues to fire one of the highest percentages in the NAIA. The junior guard was 8-for-11 from the field and 6-for-7 at the free-throw line and added five rebounds as well.

Horace McGloster and
Tyrone Lyons, who got his first start tonight, all scored 10 points. McGloster notched his fourth double-double of the season with 11 rebounds and added three steals and two assists. White was just two rebounds short of his third with eight.
Jon West and
Robert Brewer each added seven points.
SNU went 26-for-52 from the floor and were 14-for-25 (56.0 percent) in the second half. The Storm controlled the paint again scoring over half its points in the paint. SNU had 40 in the lane and had 33 points off of the bench.
The Storm didn't take its first lead until the 8:06 mar in the first half on a 3-point play by Brewer that gave the Storm a 22-21 lead. That sparked an 8-0 run to give SNU its biggest lead of the half at 27-21 with 3:29 in the first. Northwestern cut it to 31-30 late before White sank a pair of free throws to give SNU a 33-30 lead at halftime.
The Storm pushed the pace all throughout the second half as SNU scored 12 of its 37 points in the final 20 minutes on fast breaks. SNU had 18 points off of fast breaks through the game and gave up just two points in transition.
SNU scored the first five points of the second half and took a 40-30 lead, but NOSU scored seven straight to make it 40-37 early in the second. SNU took a 10-point three times before Lyons hit a bucket in the paint with 10:26 left to make it 53-43 and the lead never dipped into single digits the rest of the night. Lyons bucket started a 17-5 run for SNU as the Storm took a 66-48 lead on an Aaron layup with 4:10 left and cruised from there.
The Storm get back on the road and head for Saint Gregory's, Thursday, for an 8 p.m. conference match up.
