BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene took the Florida Panhandle by storm by going 4-1 over spring break with two wins over ranked teams.

The Crimson Storm (6-3) first started by blanking NCAA Division III McMurry (Texas), 9-0, before surrendering just one match to No. 20 Webber International (Fla.), winning 8-1. The lone loss on the week came to No. 4 Embry Riddle at 9-0, before SNU finished the trip off with an 8-1 win over No. 23 Northwood (Fla.) and a 9-0 drubbing of NCAA Division III Berry (Ga.)

Olga Kozhevnikova and Deisi Bolivar both went 4-1 on the week at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and combined to go 4-1 at No. 1 doubles as well. Marina Shipilova also went 4-1 at No. 3 singles and combined with Hilary Galbraith to go 4-1 across No. 2 and 3 doubles. Viktoriya Lukinova went 2-0 at No. 4 singles and 2-1 at No. 5 singles. Kimbery Widemann and Allison White both won matches at No. 5 and No. 6 singles as well.

Southern Nazarene is back to action Friday when they play at No. 6 Oklahoma Christian at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Okla.
