Alexander Taken by Tulsa in D-League Draft

TULSA, Okla. — Former Southern Nazarene University student-athlete Xavier Alexander was drafted by the Tulsa 66ers in the NAIA D-League Draft this past week.
 
The 66ers are the D-League affiliate to the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder.
 
Alexander, a 6-6 guard from Forest Park, Okla., was the 118th pick by Tulsa and was one of 10 players selected by the 66ers in the draft. He finished his time at SNU averaging the sixth most points per game in school history at 15.4. He was an NAIA All-American and All-SAC first team.
 
The 66ers opening training camp, Saturday, and tip off the season with two straight games on the road with the Idaho Stampede, Nov. 25 and 26.
