The Crimson Storm opened the second half with a 6-1 run to take their biggest lead of the game at 51-30 before the Drovers cut the lead down to 55-47 with 10:56 left to play. Marra answered back with five straight points the Storm to make it 60-47, but USAO went on a 9-2 run to cut it to 62-56 with 6:26 remaining. A big trey by Martin and three straight free throws looked to put the game away with just over four minutes to play, but the Drovers again got within six at 71-65 with less than two minutes to play.
Thiam then buried a trey with 1:39 left before Martin hit seven of her last eight free throws to put the game on ice.
