IRVING, Texas — Southern Nazarene turned in its strongest team performance in over two years at the 2026 Crusader Cup, finishing tied for third at Hackberry Creek Country Club. Originally scheduled as a three-round tournament, a frost delay shortened the event to two rounds on the 7,013-yard, par-72 layout.
The third-place finish marked SNU's best team result since the GAC Preview in September 2023.
Dawson Dunlap captured the individual title, becoming the first Crimson Storm golfer to win a tournament since Sam Schmidt at the GAC Preview in 2023. He put together a two-round total of 146 (+2). He led the field in par-4 scoring at 1-under, tied for the tournament lead with seven birdies, and recorded an eagle in round two on the par-5 10th hole.
Enzo Johnson placed 11th in the field with a total score of 159 (+15). Johnson ranked second in the tournament in par-5 scoring at 4-under and posted an eagle in round two on the par-5 5th hole.
Andrew Hill finished 19th overall, recording a two-round score of 163 (+19). Hill also carded an eagle in round one on the par-5 6th hole.
Jace Black and Davis Cunningham rounded out the Crimson Storm lineup with scores of 175 (+31) and 174 (+30), respectively.
Southern Nazarene returns to action March 16–17 at the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma.
