WICHITA FALLS, Texas — The Southern Nazarene University Men's Golf team competed this week at the Midwestern State Invitational, held at Wichita Falls Country Club. The Crimson Storm finished 18th in the three-round event at +55 on the 6,884-yard, par-71 layout.
SNU posted rounds of +27 and +18 on Monday before closing with a +10 in Tuesday's final round.
Dawson Dunlap once again led the way for the Crimson Storm, finishing T30th at +5 for the tournament. He highlighted his week with a 1-under round in round two.
Enzo Johnson followed at +17, placing T79th, while Harper Phillips finished T88th at +19. Jace Black posted a +20 to finish T93rd, and Simon McBride rounded out the lineup at +23 in T98th.
UT Permian Basin claimed the team title at -2, while Will Tate won the individual title at -10.
The Crimson Storm will return to action at the GAC Championship tournament April 20-22. The GAC Championships will be held at The Club at Forest Ridge in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. SNU finished seventh at last season's conference championship.
