Crimson Storm Opens 2025 Cross Country Season at Aggie Duels

Women finish with 204 points while men total 210 in season opener at Cameron University

LAWTON, Okla. - Southern Nazarene Cross Country opened their 2025 season on Friday morning, making the trip to Lawton for the Aggie Duels hosted by Cameron University. Both the men's and women's squads faced strong competition in their first test of the year, with nine teams competing on each side.

On the women's side, Southern Nazarene finished with a team score of 204. Kelsi Hilton led the way for the Crimson Storm, clocking a time of 19:34.20 to place 16th overall in a field of over 88 women runners. She was followed by Tylie Thrash, who crossed the line in 21:06.19 for 43rd place, and Elizabeth Harmon, who rounded out the top three for SNU at 21:48.30 at 58th.

The men's side earned a score of 210, with five Crimson Storm runners placing inside the top 65. Andres Young was the first across the line for SNU, running 30:14.27 to place 41st, just ahead of Myles Mayfield in 42nd 30:18.84 and Keith Howerton in 44th 30:40.14. Terrance Green 32:33.70 and Brendan Cravens 39:02.59 closed out the scoring for Southern Nazarene.
