SHAWNEE, Okla.- Southern Nazarene made it nine straight wins, taking down Oklahoma Baptist 58-54 for the second time this season.

OBU(15-8, 11-6 GAC)  scored first, but Hannah Giddey answered with back-to-back layups off assists from Katie King. Braci Nyberg and Giddey teamed up for a couple more buckets as SNU (18-5, 15-2 GAC) led 12-8 after the first quarter. 

In the second quarter, Jena Bay got things going with a layup, and Jillian Crawford knocked down two free throws. Bay then drilled a three, while Crawford and King added layups. Shannon Burton added a late bucket to put SNU up 29-21 at halftime.

The Storm kept it up in the third quarter as Giddey kept dominating, scoring twice off King's assists. Crawford knocked down a three, and Carley Gasaway set up another Giddey layup to push the lead to 46-35.

Oklahoma Baptist tried to make a run in the fourth, but SNU stayed in control. Giddey added another layup, and Hannah Duncan set up Nyberg and Bay for clutch threes to keep the Storm on top as the time ran out and SNU secured the 58-54 victory in Shawnee.

Crawford led the Storm offense as she dropped a career high 17 points. On the other hand Giddey put up 16 points and 10 rebounds for another double-double.
