EDMOND, Okla. — Southern Nazarene finished 14th at the Skip Wagnon Invitational this week at the Kickingbird Golf Club. The Crimson Storm posted rounds of 293 (+13), 284 (+4), and 290 (+10) for a three-round total of 867 (+27) on the par-70, 6,964-yard course.
Simon McBride led SNU with rounds of 70, 71, and 73 to finish at +4. Enzo Johnson fired the team's low round of the event with a 67 in round two and closed at +6. Bryce Dunlap followed at +10, while Dawson Dunlap carded an even-par 70 in the final round to finish +11. Andrew Hill rounded out the lineup at +14.
The Crimson Storm notched two eagles during the tournament—McBride eagled the par-4 2nd hole in round two, while Hill tallied one on the par-5 4th in round three.
St. Mary's took the team title at -34, led by Kongpop Kaikaew (-13) and Guillaume Paquette (-11), who finished first and second individually.
Southern Nazarene returns to action Oct. 20-21 at the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational, hosted at the Shangri-La Country Club in Monkey Island, Oklahoma.
