Storm Compete at GAC Championships

Hilton and Howerton lead SNU in Monticello

MONTICELLO, Ark. - Southern Nazarene men's and women's cross country teams made the trip to Monticello, Arkansas to compete in the Great American Conference Championships.

On the women's side, the Crimson Storm were led by Kelsi Hilton, who finished 49th with a time of 19:23.96. Tylie Thrash followed, placing 88th at 20:13.96, while McCartney McAlexander crossed the line in 21:00.77 to take 115th. Abby Salter finished in 21:16.80 for 122nd, and Abriel Thrash ran 22:41.22 to place 143rd. Kaylee Eberhart rounded out SNU's lineup.

For the men, Keith Howerton led the Storm, clocking a 28:34.43 to finish 93rd. Andres Young came in next at 29:09.58 for 97th, followed by Myles Mayfield at 29:56.90 for 103rd. Killian Smith ran a 38:00.25 to finish 112th, and Elijah Petties wrapped up the day with a time of 40:55.33 for 113th.

The Crimson Storm will compete at the Central Region Championships on Saturday, November 8.
