The Tigers maintained their lead taking advantage of a pair of fastbreak plays to extend their lead back to eight. SNU continued to chip away as a Baron Bracey three put Southern Nazarene back within two. Buries followed with a three of his own giving the Crimson Storm their first lead of the contest, 25-24.

The shots kept falling for SNU as Jeremy Golson notched a bucket from beyond the arc and Burries drained his second three on the game quickly putting SNU in front by nine. The Storm continued to pour in the points as Tavares Oliver hit a three followed by two more from Burries to give the Crimson Storm a comfortable 44-29 lead at the break.

SNU continued their offensive rampage to open up the second half as Timur Krupalija collected a couple of buckets. The three point shot continued to fall in the Storm's favor as Bracey knocked one down to put SNU in front 56-39.

The Tigers continued to chip away, but the Crimson Storm offense remained lethal.
