BETHANY, Okla. - The Crimson Storm hosted the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist for a matchup inside the Sawyer Center. Southern Nazarene dominated both sides of the ball making a statement in their 88-62 victory over the Bison.

The Storm (13-2,10-1 GAC) offense seemed nearly unstoppable as they shot 50.8 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc. They did not stop there, the SNU defense forced 15 Oklahoma Baptist (11-6,8-3 GAC) turnovers while collecting 12 steals on the night.

Southern Nazarene got on the board first after a layup from James Burries opened up the scoring. Stevie Strong followed with a layup before Burries, Strong, and Jeremy Golson teamed up for a handful of threes to put SNU in front early 10-5.

The Crimson Storm continued to tack on the points in the paint as Colby Henderson notched his first points of the evening. SNU continued to pour in the points as Golson and Baron Bracey knocked down a pair of threes to stretch the Storm lead to 29-12.

Tracy Godfrey Jr. continued to work in the paint for SNU, while Strong kept his groove from beyond the arc. Timur Krupalija picked up a bucket and a foul to send him to the charity stripe. He picked up two free throws to extend the lead to 45-18 with 3:32 left to play in the first half.

Burries knocked down yet another triple to get the Sawyer Center on their feet. The Storm tacked on a few last minute points in the paint to lead 54-20 at the halftime break.

The Bison put up a few early points to begin the second half, but the Storm continued their shooting spree as Strong knocked down yet another three.  OBU continued to try to chip away, but the SNU offense continued to add to their score. Golson knocked down another three to stretch the Crimson Storm lead 65-31.

Henderson snagged a steal and followed with a tip-in to keep the SNU momentum alive. He followed shortly after with a three thanks to a pass from Bracey.
