Men's Rugby Come Up Short at Iowa Central

Crimson Storm fall against the Tritons of Iowa Central

FORT DODGE, Iowa - The Crimson Storm Men's Rugby team headed north to open up their 2024 15s season. They met Iowa Central Community College for a two game slate with the Tritons. SNU fell short in both matches 39-10 and 28-11.

The SNU Rugby Black team took the pitch first against the Tritons. Angus Rich and Alexzander Johnson led the way with one try apiece as the Storm fell in their season opener. A tough Iowa Central squad put SNU to the test as they claimed the 39-10 victory.

The white team took the pitch next as they were led by Cruz Stefanich who totaled two penalty kicks for 6 points in the match. Timothy Price also collected one try for the Crimson Storm as they fell to Iowa Central, 28-11.

Next Up

The Storm will travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado to take on Montana State and Air Force on Saturday, September 14.
