Crimson Storm picks up another road victory over Cameron, 3-0

LAWTON, Okla. - The Crimson Storm traveled to take on Cameron in a Monday matchup. Southern Nazarene dominated, only needing three sets to defeat the Aggies on the road, 3-0.

SNU (7-15, 3-6 GAC) wasted no time getting on the board. Kate Wright and Rayanna Mauldin powered down a few early kills, helping the Storm take an early 7-2 lead over the Aggies (1-19, 1-7 LSC).

The Crimson Storm kept their foot on the gas as Whitney Bowie got in on the fun powering down a few more kills to extend the SNU lead once again. A service ace from Mauldin made the score 15-6 giving the Crimson Storm all the momentum.

A kill from Molly Langford and a service ace from Tatum Smith gave the Storm set point. Tessa Henry notched the final kill as SNU took set one, 25-11.

The Aggies looked to even the score as they took a quick 6-4 lead to start set two. A few kills from Langford and Bowie alongside a few Cameron errors gave SNU a 9-8 lead.

The two squads battled back and forth from there before a pair of kills from Henry and a service ace from Raegan Strickland pushed the Crimson Storm lead once more.

Langford and Wright teamed up for another pair of kills giving the Storm set point. Another attack error from the Aggies gave SNU the second set, 25-21.

The Crimson Storm looked to take the match in three sets as the Crimson Storm hitters continued to dominate at the net giving SNU a quick 7-4 lead to start set three.

Wright and Riley Richardson continued to pour in the kills to push the Storm ahead 13-6. Another Crimson Storm ace came from Emma Grace Moddelmog extending the lead once more.

The Storm continued to put the pressure on the Aggies as Quinn Van Maanen and Tynaa Mojica tacked on a pair of kills. A Cameron attack error gave the Crimson Storm match point and another attack gave SNU the set, 25-15, and the match, 3-0.
