Final Results
EDMOND, Okla. – The Southern Nazarene men's golf team wrapped up the 2022 Eagle Invite on Tuesday with a 311 team score in their final round at Oak Tree Country Club (East Course).
In gloomy conditions in their final 18 holes, SNU fell just a few spots on the leaderboard as they finished 12
th in their final tune-up before the conference tournament coming up in April. The Storm concluded the event a couple of strokes ahead of Southern Arkansas and five ahead of South Dakota School of Mines.
Senior
Zander Tway paced the action for the Crimson Storm once again as he posted a final round 73 to finish tied for 32
nd on the leaderboard.
Noah Kern teed off his final round in a tie for 15
th place, but it wasn't his day as he came in the house with an 83 to finish tied for 48
th.
Will Coffman fired his lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 74 to finish with a 236 three-round total, while
Landon Hendrix carded an 82 to finish with a 242 total.
Rounding out the Storm lineup was
Brodey Claborn who also shot an 82 to finish the tournament with a 253 total.
Host school Oklahoma Christian brought home the team trophy after defeating Cameron by 13 strokes. Central Missouri finished one shot behind the Aggies in third while Henderson State finished fourth.
The Eagles' Mateo Pulcini secured the individual trophy for first place as he edged CU's Hamish Murray by two strokes.
Southern Nazarene will now have a few weeks off as they will be preparing for the GAC Championships in Hot Springs, Arkansas coming up on April 11-12.
