ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Nationally ranked Henderson State stood strong all series long as they capped off the finale with a 16-4 win over Southern Nazarene.

The No. 10 Reddies had an offensive onslaught in Game 3, opening the game with a 10 run third inning to help propel them to victory, going 3-0 in the series.

Both the first and second innings were runless between both teams, but the Reddies quickly turned this around with a huge third inning to put them at 10-0 over SNU.

The Storm struggled to find any offensive momentum at the plate, leaving the Reddies to score a couple of more runs in the fourth and fifth innings, growing their lead to 14-0.

Henderson put up two more runs in the top of the 7th, looking to leave the Storm scoreless to close out the series. SNU's Brian Brown left the Reddies with a sting in his final appearance at the plate as he slugged one far over to left field with three Storm players on base, recording his first grand slam on the year. Brown's long ball sent Cole Embrey, Peyton Vinyard, and Jake Schow across home for a final score of 16-4.

Brian Brown made a lasting impression in Game 3, finishing 1-3 with his home run recording four RBI's. EJ Taylor finished 1-2 while Tyler Broyles finished 1-3 that game.

SNU heads back to Bethany to face off with Southeastern Oklahoma State with a single game Friday, March 4th at 2:00 p.m. and a Saturday, March 5th doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m.
