Elijah Brady single, making the game interesting.
Â
Then, like clockwork, SNU turned around to score two more runs in the 6
thto set up their highest scoring inning of the day. In this 7
thinning, the Crimson Storm were hit by consecutive pitches with bases loaded, granting them two runs. With the score now 7-4, MACU answered with a subtle comeback in the 8
th, but this was quickly put to a stop as Southern Nazarene would close things out.Â
Â

Zach Birkle got the start on the mound for SNU as he pitched 3.0 innings and struck out one batter.
Brendan Boily, who was credited with win (1-2), would come in as relief and pitch for 3.0 innings. Afterwards,
