SHAWNEE, Okla. — Southern Nazarene opened its final series of the season Friday with a 20-6 loss to its rival Oklahoma Baptist.

The Crimson Storm tallied six hits in the game but the Bison bats caught fire, as they totaled 20 hits.
Ryan Mills got the start on the bump for SNU as he earned the loss. He struck out two, allowed eight runs, all earned, in 4.0 innings.

Cole Lee led the way for the Storm at the plate, as the freshman went 3-for-4 with two RBI's and one run scored.
Tanner Maskey finished 1-for-3 with an RBI, while
Austin Cooper went 1-for-4 with a run scored.
Cole Wagner also had a run scored and went 1-for-3.

OBU got their bats started in the first inning, as the Bison pushed four runs across the plate to take a 4-0 lead. They added one more in the third inning, another in the fourth, and eight in the fifth to open up a 14-0 lead.
Emilio Escobedo got SNU on the board in the sixth inning with his sacrifice fly to score
Shelby Reese.

Later in the inning, Wagner scored on a wild pitch before Maskey's single scored Lee to make it 14-3. Oklahoma Baptist scored six more runs in the bottom of the sixth to push their lead to 20-3 before Southern Nazarene tacked on two more runs in the top of the seventh. The Bison closed the door before the Storm could score any more.
