BETHANY, Okla. — Tanner Maskey went 3-for-4 with two runs scored while
Austin Cooper went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for Southern Nazarene in an 18-5 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State.

The Crimson Storm (10-24, 6-19 GAC) had 10 hits on the day, but gave up 22 to the Savage Storm (17-21, 12-13 GAC) in the first game of the series Friday.

Southeastern scored two early in the top of the first and added another to lead 3-0. SNU cut it to 3-2 in the bottom of the second on a bases-loaded ground rule double to left by
Austin Cooper before
Cole Lee hit a sacrifice fly to left to tie the game.

The Savage Storm answered in the top half of third with two-run home run to right center to lead 5-3 and added one more in the fourth to lead 6-3.
Josh Flowers made it 6-4 in the bottom of the fourth with a double to right center. SNU cut it to 6-5 on a single to left by
Shelby Reese, but that was as close as they came the rest of the way.

The Savage Storm added two in the top of the sixth to lead 8-5 and then unloaded in the seventh with 10 runs to push it to 18-5. SOSU held SNU scoreless in the bottom half of the inning to get the run rule.

Ryan Mills (3-6) took the loss in the start after giving up eight runs on 14 hits in 5.2 innings pitched.
