MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Southern Nazarene won its second Great American Conference series of the year with a 14-1 run-rule at No. 25 Southern Arkansas in the final game of the 3-game series.

The Crimson Storm (8-11, 4-8 GAC) took advantage of five Mulerider (13-7, 8-4 GAC) errors and held SAU to just four hits the entire day. SNU got behind
Jefferson Harris (1-1) who gave up just one run on four hits and struck out seven in the complete-game performance.

Shelby Reese went 2-for-3 with three runs scored while
Joe Toilolo went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored.
Garrett Perez also went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI.

SNU jumped out early with three runs in the second and two in the third.
Tanner Maskey hit his third home run of the year to put SNU up 2-0 before Reese scored on a balk to give the Storm a 3-0 lead. The Storm pushed two more across in the third on a Mulerider error to lead 5-0 before SNU unloaded in the fourth with eight. Four of those runs came on an
Emilio Escobedo grand slam for his fifth home run of the year as SNU took a 13-0 lead.

SAU got their only run in the fourth on a home run before a Toilolo RBI double in the sixth put the final run on the board.
