ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — For the first time in school history, Southern Nazarene scored a series win over Ouachita Baptist with a 4-2 victory Monday in the final game of the series.

The Crimson Storm (6-7, 2-4 GAC) had just two wins over the Tigers (4-11, 1-5 GAC) in the previous 15 meetings.

SNU got the win in the top of the ninth when
Cole Wagner broke a 2-2 tie with a two-out single up the middle to score
A.J. Nelums and
Jake Vernon to give SNU a 4-2 lead.

Wagner finished 2-for-5 as did
Austin Cooper and both had an RBI.
Emilio Escobedo also went 2-for-4.

Austin Cooper picked up his fourth save of the year after giving up just one hit and striking out three in one inning.

Ouachita Baptist put the first run on the board in the bottom of the first, but SNU tied it in the top of the third on an
Austin Cooper single to right.
