BETHANY, Okla. — East Central hit 13 3-pointers as Southern Nazarene fell 69-57 Thursday night inside the Sawyer Center.  
 
The Crimson Storm (7-15, 5-13 GAC) went just 5-for-20 from downtown and gave up 20 points off 15 turnovers.
 
Kennedy Gillette scored a career-high 14 points as the freshman went 6-for-9 from the field and added two blocks. Adrienne Berry added 12 points and three rebounds while Sidney Carolina added 10 points and five rebounds. Abby Niehues nearly had a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds.
 
SNU shot 22-for-55 from the field, but were just 8-for-13 from the free-throw line. The Tigers (8-14, 7-11 GAC) went 22-for-54 from the field and went 13-for-24 from downtown. They also went a perfect 12-for-12 at the line. ECU was 8-for-13 from 3-point range in the first half.
 
ECU jumped out to an 8-2 lead in the first, but the Storm answered with a 15-7 run, capped by a Niehues layup to lead 15-13. The Tigers tied it at 15 to end the first and neither team led by more than four in the second quarter before ECU took a 32-28 lead at the half.
 
East Central went on a 9-3 run to start the second half to lead 41-31 and took a 51-42 lead at the end of the third before extending the lead even further in the final quarter.
