WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Southern Nazarene was held to 30.1 shooting from the field in a 93-61 loss at Southwestern Oklahoma State Wednesday night.
 
Adrienne Berry and 
Kennedy Gillette each had a team-high 11 points for the Crimson Storm (7-8, 4-5 GAC) while 
Abby Niehues and 
Irene Perez each scored eight. Niehues also had four blocks. The Bulldogs (15-1, 10-0 GAC) had all five starters in double figures and fired 47.8 percent from the field.
 
Southwestern opened the game on an 8-0 run and extended it to a 14-4 run. The Bulldogs led 25-8 at the end of the first after shooting 47.4 percent from the field while holding the Storm to 21.4 percent from the floor.
 
SNU turned the tables though in the second quarter. The Storm were 9-for-22 from the field and outscored the Bulldogs 36-9 to tie the game at the half. SWOSU though scored the first 17 points of the third to lead 53-36 and routed SNU in the second half. Southwestern held SNU to just 10-for-37 shooting in the second half while firing from 21-for-36 from the field in the second half.
 
The Storm shot 22-for-73 for the night while going 4-for-18 from downtown. SNU also went 13-for-22 at the free-throw line. The Bulldogs went 33-or-69 from the floor, 12-for-24 from beyond the arc and missed just one of its 16 attempts at the charity stripe.
