Weevils Down Storm

SNU falls 10-0 at Arkansas-Monticello

MONTICELLO, Ark. — Southern Nazarene dropped the opening game of a three-game series at Arkansas-Monticello as it fell 10-0 Friday afternoon.
 
Mike Descisciolo went 2-for-3 on the day as he had two of the Crimson Storm's (1-14, 1-6 GAC) five hits. Austin Cooper (0-4) took the loss after he gave up six runs on eight hits in three innings of work. He also struck out two.
 
The Weevils scored four runs right out of the gate to lead 4-0 in the first. UAM added one in the third and three more in the fourth to take an 8-0 lead. UAM pushed it to 10-0 in the bottom of the fifth before taking the run rule in seven innings.
