BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene dropped a pair of Great American Conference games as it fell 10-6 and 20-3 to Harding Friday afternoon.

Southern Nazarene jumped out to a 1-0 lead after Kristin Shumaker hit an infield single to score
Kendal Stockstill. Harding came back with a run of their own in the third to knot the game up 1-1. The Storm retook the lead at 2-1 in the bottom of the third after an

Harding scored three runs in the fourth to take a 4-2 lead. SNU got a run back in the bottom of the fourth when a bases loaded
Mahina Sauer walk scored
Cheyenne Reynolds. The Bisons extended their lead to six runs after scoring four more runs in the fifth to put the score at 8-3. Southern Nazarene rallied for two runs in the fifth. Scoring on a bases loaded hit batter and a

HU added two more runs in the sixth to give the Bisons a 10-5 lead. SNU scored one last run in the bottom of the sixth, scoring off an
Amy Reynolds fielder's choice that scored
Hope Martin. However, that's the last run the Storm would get as scoreless seventh gave Harding a 10-6 win.

Brown (6-9) took the loss after giving up nine runs, on ten hits, in seven innings of work. Brown also struck out nine batters, while walking five.

Sauer went 2-for-3 with an RBI,
Amy Reynolds went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a walk and Shumaker went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

In the nightcap, after two innings the score was tied up at 1-1. SNU's run came off of a hit and run in the second. With
Sam Smith running at first, a double by Hannah Lebeau allowed Smith to score all the way from first. Harding retook the lead by scoring one run in the third, seven in the fourth and one more in the fifth to put the score at 10-1 going into bottom of the fifth.

Southern Nazarene bit into the Bisons lead by scoring two runs in the fifth. The runs coming off of an RBI single from
Amy Reynolds and an RBI double from Brown. Harding answered with ten runs in the sixth to give the Bisons an insurmountable lead and an inevitable victory.

Tate (0-6) took the loss after giving up 16 runs, on 15 hits in six innings of work. Smith went 2-for-3 with a run scored, Brown went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, and LeBeau 1-for-2 with an RBI double and a walk.
