OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The shots just weren't falling for Southern Nazarene, as it shot 29 percent for the game in a 77-63 loss to Oklahoma Christian on Saturday afternoon.

The Crimson Storm (3-4) went 8-for-34 from three-point range, as they shot a season-low 23 percent from downtown. The Eagles (2-8) shot 37 percent from the field, but made 9-of-18 three pointers, as well as going 24-for-29 from the free throw line. OC turned the ball over 17 times, while SNU gave it away 15 times in a contest that saw eight ties and six lead changes.

Irene Perez had a team-high 13 points for Southern Nazarene, and also pulled down five rebounds.
Sidney Carolina recorded her first double-double of the season, as she finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Adrienne Berry had nine points, while
Kandyce Freeman chipped in eight points off the SNU bench.

Oklahoma Christian started the game on a 12-4 run, but the Storm closed the first quarter with a couple of baskets from
Julia Schwake as they trailed 18-13. Southern Nazarene poured in 22 points in the second quarter as the lead changed hands four times, and was tied 35-35 going into halftime.

The second half proved to be the difference maker, as Southern Nazarene shot just 23 percent from the field, but kept itself in the game with just a four-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter. The Eagles outscored the Crimson Storm 23-13 in the fourth, as they made 13 free throws and pushed their lead to double-digits.
