BETHANY, Okla. — Adrienne Berry scored a game-high 26 points for Southern Nazarene in a 79-66 loss at Henderson State Thursday night.

The loss is the first of the year for the Crimson Storm (3-1, 2-1 GAC) who also played their first road game of the season.

Berry, who was just one point off a career-high, hit a career-high six 3-pointers as she was 6-for-11 from outside and 10-for-17 from the field.
Alexus Jones was the only other player in double figures as she had 13 points. She was 7-for-11 at the line and added a career-high nine rebounds as well. SNU shot 38.2 percent from the field and went 7-for-20 from 3-point range. The Storm struggled at the line, going just 17-for-31. The Reddies scored 20 points off a season-high 23 turnovers from SNU. The Storm forced 19 turnovers, but only converted off 14 points.

The Storm took a quick lead out of the gate at 13-6 on Berry's second trey of the game, but the Reddies closed the first on an 11-5 run to cut it to 18-15. Henderson outscored the Storm 23-11 in the second quarter as the Reddies went 9-for-18 from the field and held SNU to 2-of-12 shooting from the floor.

The Storm cut it to 38-31 to start the half and trailed 43-38 with 7:15 to play in the third, but that was as close as SNU came the rest of the night. The Reddies closed the third with a 17-8 run and never looked back from there.
