ALVA, Okla. — Meagan Ellis and
Kylie Smith each had double-doubles for Southern Nazarene in a 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-17) loss at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Ellis had 10 kills and a career-high 17 digs while Smith had 39 assists and 11 digs.
Bailee Turang was just a dig shot of a double-double with 12 kills and nine digs.
Elyse Berlin notched 18 digs while
Hannah Davis had 13.
McKayla Benner also had eight kills and
Makenna Hunter posted seven. The Storm (11-15, 6-6 GAC) hit just. 159 and had four blocks. Despite out digging the Rangers (18-8, 8-4 GAC), Northwestern had nine blocks and eight aces.

The Storm never trailed in the first set, but had to battle off four ties in the set. The final came at 23-23 after SNU led 18-14. Southern Nazarene though got two straight kills from Turang and Smith to take the 1-0 lead in the set.

After the first set though, the Rangers didn't trail once the rest of the night as it took the final three sets and swept the season series.
