WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Southern Nazarene moved to 3-0 for the first time since 2008 with a 3-0 (252-20, 25-14, 26-24) win over Fort Lewis, but the opening streak came to a close with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-17) loss to Dallas Baptist in the final day of the Hampton Inn-vitational.

The Crimson Storm hit .265 (43-14-113) in the opening sweep against Ft. Lewis while holding the Skyhawks to just a .120 clip. SNU had two players hit .400 or better as
Bailee Turang hit .467 (9-2-15) while
Makenna Hunter hit .412 (8-1-17).
Lexie Matthews finished the day with 11 kills, two blocks, five digs and an ace, while
McKayla Benner had 10 dkill and three blocks.

Elyse Berlin dished out 35 assists and had eight digs to go with an ace and a block.
Abbey Bell had match-high 14 digs while
Hannah Davis and Turang each had 13.
