BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene committed four errors as Southwestern Oklahoma State finished off a series sweep with a 5-2 win over SNU.

The Crimson Storm (4-20, 4-11 GAC) scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first.
Tyler Stevens ripped a single to right field to score
Dillon Feland and give SNU a 1-0 lead.

SWOSU wasted no time getting back in the game as the Bulldogs scored two runs in the top of the second and one in the top of the third to take a 3-1 lead. Southern Nazarene fought back in the fifth as
Cody Nelson singled in Feland and get the Storm within one.

That was as close as SNU got as Southwestern added insurance runs in the sixth and ninth to seal the game.

Connor Gaughan (1-1) suffered the first loss of his career as he gave up three runs, two earned, with two strikeouts over 2.2 innings.
Cody Tolbert pitched well in relief as he went 4.2 innings and gave up just one unearned run.

Feland and
Shelby Reese each went 3-for-4 on the day to lead the Storm. Feland added a double and two runs scored, while Nelson, Stevens, and Mike Descisciolo each added a hit as well for SNU.
