BETHANY, Okla. — Home court has never been so important to Southern Nazarene as it moved to 7-2 inside the Sawyer Center this year with a 67-63 win over Arkansas Tech.

The win for the Crimson Storm (10-11, 9-6 GAC) was the second straight at home and third win over the last four games.
Â

SNU also scored 13 points off of 15 Wonder Boys (11-10, 6-9 GAC) turnovers and the Storm turned the ball over just eight times. Southern Nazarene also got 23 points off of the bench.
Â
Neither team led by more than six in the first half and went into the break knotted at 32-32. The two exchanged four leads early until SNU used an 8-2 run to lead 46-42 with 10:59 left to play. The Storm never led by more than eight the rest of the way, but it never trailed.
Â
The win puts SNU in a tie for fourth in the Great American Conference with Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Storm won the first meeting with the Bulldogs so they currently have the head-to-head tiebreaker.Â
